Ice + concrete stairs = 3 stitches in the ER.
We were headed out for a snow shoe hike across the park when Vince slipped on the stairs and hit his head. He didn't seem hurt, but the gash looked bad so Drew took him to the ER for stitches. I think the stitches were way more traumatic for him than the fall. The nurse tied down his arms and sat on him while the doctor covered his face with a sterile pad and went to work.
Yikes! I honestly can't believe we haven't had to visit the ER yet for my daredevil. Looks like he weathered it all okay though :)
